JEDDAH: Consul General of Pakistan Syed Mustafa Rabbani, accompanied by Head of Chancery Ghulam Hussain, held a meeting with Abdullah Al-Zahrani, Director General of the Jeddah branch of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Media, to discuss opportunities for strengthening media cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

The meeting formed part of Consul General Syed Mustafa Rabbani’s ongoing engagements with key Saudi officials aimed at further strengthening bilateral relations and promoting a positive image of Pakistan in the Kingdom.

During the discussion, both sides exchanged views on cooperation in the media sector and the importance of closer engagement between the relevant institutions of the two brotherly countries. Media can play an important role in bringing people closer, highlighting shared interests and further strengthening the longstanding relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

The meeting also highlighted the need for Pakistan’s Ministry of Information and its relevant officials to strengthen institutional links with their Saudi counterparts. Greater cooperation in this area could help communicate a positive image of Pakistan to Saudi audiences and further enhance the country’s standing in the Kingdom.

Consul General Syed Mustafa Rabbani has been actively engaging with officials in the host country to promote Pakistan’s image and strengthen people-to-people and institutional ties.

As part of these efforts, an exhibition showcasing artworks by prominent Pakistani and Saudi artists is scheduled to take place next week at the Pakistan Consulate in Jeddah. The initiative is intended to provide a platform for cultural exchange and highlight the artistic contributions of both countries.

During the meeting, an invitation was extended to Abdullah Al-Zahrani to attend the upcoming exhibition at the Consulate.

The event is expected to attract hundreds of members of the Pakistani community, their families and distinguished Saudi personalities. It is also expected to provide an opportunity for members of both communities to appreciate the artistic and cultural traditions of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

The meeting and the planned exhibition reflect ongoing efforts by the Pakistan Consulate to strengthen bilateral engagement through media, cultural exchange and closer interaction with Saudi institutions and communities.
